Designs. We have over 2600 designs. We work exhaustingly
with architects, designers, contractors and homeowners to create
designs unlike anything available.
With the addition of large format lasering we offer
beautiful custom and personalized glass etchings, wood
engravings and inlays complementing any of our doors, sidelights or
transoms.
Wood
for each project is carefully selected matching grains and
tones.
Each part is inspected through every phase of the building
process. Stile, rail and mullion construction utilize either
composite, timber strand or
solid wood
stave cores
with solid
3/4 inch edging along with 1/4 inch or 5/8 inch thick wood faces,
laminated or solid
woods. Panels for exterior doors and some interior doors are
built using two separate
panels allowing outside and inside panels to move
independently. Traditional mortise and tenon or birch dowels are
used for assembly. These techniques represent some of the
absolute best in
past and modern
craftsmanship to produce
an extremely stable door. Door jambs are built to the correct wall
thickness and not just the standard 4 9/16" or 6 9/16" eliminating
the need for jamb extensions. Ball bearing hinges in select finishes are
offered. Standard
thickness for both interior
and exterior doors is 1 3/4 inch.
